Anthony Scaramucci Bullish on Bitcoin, Thinks Price has Bottomed Out
Top finance expert and former White House advisor Anthony Scaramucci said on a CNBC panel that Bitcoin has bottomed out and further price movement might not be much worse than it actually is.
He further added that the price has been low because of several reasons:
- There is little to no interest in Bitcoin among investors
- Searchable terms on Google also show a 55% decline in searches per month around Bitcoin
- The fear and greed index is at one of the lowest levels
Scaramucci’s analysis concludes that since all these factors are already at their bottom, there is very less room for Bitcoin to decline further.
No Improvement in Fundamentals
Despite several events taking place in crypto and the global economy, the price of Bitcoin remains at a lower level due to the lack of any significant fundamental improvements.
- Interest rates are still high due to high inflation across the globe.
- Global conflict is restricting the free flow of money.
Known Signs of a Crypto Market Bottom
A crypto market bottom generally repeats a few signs, no matter the market conditions.
- During a bottom, also a bit before and after it, the price hits a narrow zone where it cannot breach either upwards or downwards. Bitcoin also seems stuck between $62,000 and $67,000 at present.
- Market sentiment hits a low despite positive news flows. The current fear and greed index score shows “Extreme Fear”.
- There has been a significant drawdown in Bitcoin, it fell 55% from $126k to 58k.
